Summary
It has now been 4 years since Luffy disappeared, at only 10 years old. Ace moved heaven and earth searching for his little brother. He had already lost Sabo. He didn’t want to lose his last brother too.
But despite all his efforts, he never found anything. He thought that by joining the crew of the famous Whitebeard, he might at least find a lead. But still nothing.
Ace was more focused on searching for Luffy than taking care of his own crew. His health kept getting worse, so Whitebeard decided to send him away on a vacation, far off on a remote island. Just to give him a bit of peace.
But while he was gone, Marco found a young boy, badly injured. He couldn’t have been more than 14 years old. His ankles were tightly bound, just like his wrists. So Marco decided to bring him back to the ship.
