Summary
Five years after defeating the Brain, Astarion and Tav have a mundane life. They have adapted their lifestyles according to Astarion’s inability to walk to the sun. Now are healing their own traumas together, and are considered heroes of the city. Behind Astarion's back, Tav is searching for a cure for him. She promised that he would walk to the sun again and her promises always stand. Suddenly, the group of friends fins a solution too perfect to be true. A wish spell.
At the same time, centuries later, the vampire ascendant is ruler of Faerûn. He has everything he ever desired. Power, the world under his hand, freedom and no danger to his life. All is his to control.
But he is alone. His friends are longer dead, his master sacrificed when he Ascended and Tav, his lover, has died. Or so he thinks.
Is when he finds a Wish Spell that he allows himself to dream again of his love. He would do anything to have her again in his arms. But the Wish spells are capricious, and mess the whole situation to a level that no one is prepared for.

Summary
“Every time I make love in your shape, you will know.”
There are two mistakes you regret more than anything. One, helping Astarion complete the ritual that changed him into someone you no longer recognize. Two, giving your body away to an incubus, an eternal pact from which you can never break free.
Haarlep has begun to take your form almost every night, making it impossible to forget your pact, impossible to forget the nights you shared with the man you once loved, all while a stranger ravishes you from beyond.
Only it isn’t a stranger at all.

Summary
...in a game you do not know the rules of
What is the game about? About lying, but not believing the lies. About gaining control without losing control. About giving in to desire but not feelings. About discovering secrets and keeping secrets. Ra'el knew it would be like this, she knew from the moment Astarion put the dagger to her neck. It wasn't safe, it wasn't wise, but she couldn't resist. The game is too tempting, and she is, after all, a mistress at it. Lying is her most powerful weapon, the reason her patron chose her. She can't lose.
************
A shameless, self-indulgent tale of a warlock tiefling and a pale elf being madly in love. It is based roughly on the events of the game as it happened to me so consider all of this as a (very personal) headcanon. I refer in many points to the events from Baldur's Gate 3, but I don't describe them, so you need to know the game's plot to fully understand what's going on. It's not an elegant solution, but it's effective, and who has time for elegance when humanoids in your head are in love?
