Summary
Ada Wong had always had her walls up, shielding her heart from the rest of the world. Until a certain bright eyed young man stumbled his way into her heart. And he held her heart as tenderly as she allowed him to. And that was enough for a while, until it wasn't.
Ada reminisces on memories she'd shared with him, remembering the good times and the bad times. Wondering if this was enough for either of them.

It was a hot summer day in the Blue Butterfly Kindergarten, and by looking at her pupils' faces Ada Wong knew she was about to be asked once again for a trip to a new ice cream shop just down the road.
„Its not that far away,” Claire argued. „My friend is the owner of the shop and he loves kids, I’ve been there already and the place is big enough to keep all the children inside.”
„I know you have mentioned him several times already, but what was his name again?” Ada asked.
„Leon Kennedy. He worked in the force for a couple of years. I’m kind of surprised you haven’t met him already…”

Something I've been kicking around for a while. The title comes from Japanese folklore, it's a type of snake-woman shape-shifter that appears as a young girl to lure in victims before devouring them.
