Summary
Rumi knew she was a girl early on. Despite telling her to hide her demon side, Celine was accepting of Rumi's gender identity. Rumi got all the gender affirmation and support she could ask for growing up. By the time Celine started searching for other girls to form the next generation of demon hunters, Rumi had been living totally stealth and passing herself off as cis with ease. Her new companions Mira and Zoey are trans too - it was Celine's idea to find trans women like her so they would better understand each other. Only problem is... Rumi doesn't know how to tell her new friends that she's not cis like they thought. How can she tell them something she's been lying about just as long as she's hidden her demonic heritage? How will she mend the bridge with Celine after her patterns are no longer a secret?

Beginning their first year of university, Rumi and Mira meet on the orientation tour. After connecting at lunch, Mira finds out Rumi has a crush on certain space-bunned cutie. The pair both attended a prospective student event a couple months ago, but Rumi hasn't seen her since. But that doesn't mean she hasn't been thinking about her...
Hatching a plan to help Rumi overcome her fear of talking to girls- Mira convinces Rumi to practice flirting via DMs. But lines blur and apparently it's not normal to dwell of your friend's well defined abs... or think about her lips. Whoops...

Zoey whined as she bared her teeth, rolling her hips against nothing even as she pressed back, squirming, fighting, snapping and growling, and–
"Do not show me your teeth unless you're actually ready to use them."
Zoey froze.
The satin fabric of a business suit pressed roughly against her skin; the sharp weight of an elbow dug into her shoulder; the fist in Zoey's hair gripped tight, a searing, relentless pull.
What she noticed most of all, though, were the fangs.
"Are you done?" Celine's voice was clipped, sharp as a blade and twice as cold, just like her daughter. "Or do you need a firmer hand?"
Just like her daughter, she smelled extra sweet.

Zoey could feel her pulse in her throat and she felt sweaty. Not the horny kind, but the angry kind. “Will still punch him the next time I see him.”
“Okay let's switch topics, because no contraceptives anymore? Do you want to tell me something, lil sis?” Now he genuinely sounded like his usual self, a grin in his voice.
Zoey blushed, taking Rumi's pajama shirt and bringing it to her nose, then rubbed it over her neck for a second.
“Yeah, uhm, we talked about it a few weeks ago, and we decided that we want to try… y'know.”
