Tommy stared back at the man he once saw as a father, but it is now boiled down to a mentor rather than a parent he once needed. He once yearned to have between child-like hands.
His mouth curled into a quiet smile.
He’ll never understand the people who hurt him, but he’ll try to see it in their view, yet he will not burden himself any further.
His voiceless words might never be heard but he will be there to catch it and fix what little he has for himself.
Because in the end. He will see himself in the fields of flowers.
Waving away the ghost of the past and welcoming the children of the moment.

When Tommy got resurrected, he was left mute due to Dream ripping away his vocal cords.
But the more painful thing is the realization that people are moving on and leaving him.
So he runs in a faraway location, wanting to heal from his traumas from the Country he used to call home.
But he was starting to get visitors from the home he sought to avoid.
It was weird, to say the least.
