Thinking it were his last moments, he stared at the starry sky above him as he focused on breathing, that is, until he heard unfamiliar footsteps. He didn’t bother moving, no energy left in his body. Soon enough, a person came into view, wearing a cloak that covered their face, making him unable to make out any features on their face.
Before he knew it, he was on their back, carried to an unknown place as his unconsciousness faded.
If only he knew what would happen and how things would take a turn. Not only would the person would become so important to him but he would enact his vengeance for those that betrayed him.
