He stares down the hall where Soap has disappeared into his room, giving himself a moment to steel his nerves and push down the ever growing desire; Ghost’s alpha instincts urge him to stalk down the hallway after his omega, go into his den, and have his way with him. But Ghost shoves the animal in his chest back, locking it deep behind the cage of his ribs to firmly ignore.
He won't let himself fall victim to his most base instincts, and he definitely won't let Johnny fall victim to them either.
It had taken months of quietly yearning, of keeping a tight hold on his long ignored alpha instincts to get where they are now, here in Simon’s home together, and he would do anything in his power to make sure Soap felt comfortable enough to make it his home too.
