Summary
Izaiah expected to become a doctor, not die in one of the most embarrassing accidents imaginable.
Instead, he wakes up in the world of One Piece ten years before Luffy ever sets sail, in a body that is very much not his old one and carrying powers that definitely did not exist in the manga. Taking the name Ashara, he has to figure out where he is, how much of the story he remembers still applies, and what exactly he wants to do with a second chance he never expected to receive.
There is just one additional complication.
A white soulmate mark has appeared on his skin—and somewhere across the sea, someone who has spent centuries without one has just received the matching mark.
Maybe reincarnation would have been easier without destiny getting involved.

Meet Jay, Keys and Fizzie, as they struggle with this very question.
They begin to recall the memories from their past life, and using the braincell that Jay holds 99% of the time, they choose to cause chaos and build as many friendships as possible.

“Fiiiine,” he whines petulantly, “we don’t have anything better to do anyways. Might as well help you.”
I cheer again, and leap happily at his face, smothering it, “Thank you!”
His hands scrabble at my back, and I hear something oddly like, “I need air” something that comes out garbled. (something more like: “GALPME,INEEBAIR,HALLP.”)
Small hands yank me down off of him, and I fall backward, instinctively, unhesitatingly into Jay’s arms. She sets me on the ground and lightly boops me on the nose before smiling happily at me.
“We can’t go smothering him just yet! You can do that after my sword lessons.” (Shanks sputters angrily in the background (“they just tried to kill me? And you fucking boop their nose??”)
