The accident had left her disabled, insecure, and always with a feeling helplessness. She couldn't stand the pity from others, the disgust, was ten times worse.
She doesn't have to go through it alone, though. Not like she might've several years before.
No, she had someone who loved her, fought for her, trusted her. Saw her as who she truly was. Loved her through it all.
And that someone, was far more then enough, to keep her going.
