“-and the girls on the squad were teasing me again,” Vash huffs, continuing the tirade that he'd started the moment he came out of practice and flung his gym bag into the back of Nick's beat-ass Honda. “And it's really not funny! How am I supposed to be sparkling when they're leaving 'Solo Saverem' doodles in my locker!”
Nick has to stifle a snort at that one, they've definitely gotten more creative in their efforts to torment the easiest target in their high school.
“They're losers, just ignore them.” God knows he always does – couldn't pay him to set foot near that vipers' nest. He's pretty sure half of them would claw the other half's eyes out if they could get away with it, but Vash always insists that it's just good-fun teasing between friends.
Today's pout looks more miserable than good fun.

The unusual request was preceded by a brief introduction—his name is Vash, he's thirty-two, and he found him through a friend of a friend of Livio's—and followed by a far too polite signoff for Wolfwood's line of work. Didn't specify if he wanted to top or bottom, didn't ask if too much sex with Wolfwood would kill him, didn't even complain about his flat rate (which got him subpar insults more times than he can count).
Just "can you come chill."
It was so ridiculous that Wolfwood's curiosity was piqued. No matter that he should have been the one to pick the place. A hotel room for first timers, at his place for trusted regulars. But, well, money was money, and to be fair, he only set that rule because Livio insisted. He'd seen his fair share of the not-fun kind of weirdos and, most of the time, dealt with them just fine.
There was no reason this guy should be any different.
