Summary
Jemima made decisions and Tumblebrutus accepted them; that was just their dynamic. And Tumble loved it. He loved that he never had to make a move himself or worry about whether they were on the same page because Jemima was always two steps ahead, but just this once he would have liked some warning.
She was going to be the next Jellicle Leader. It was a position of responsibility and authority, two things that Tumble had never really been comfortable with. He tried to be brave, and to protect his family, but the truth was he was really much more comfortable bouncing around the junkyard and making the other cats laugh then he was leading anyone.

Summary
Quaxo and Victoria are settling into the Junkyard after being brought to safety by Bustopher Jones several months ago. They've had their first Jellicle Ball, and are looking forwards to the next one.
But while Victoria is settled and happy with her new friends amongst the kittens, Quaxo is less sure of his place. He can't allow himself to become a liability. So having a crush on the Rum Tum Tugger is just the worst. Too bad that his means of protecting himself from Tugger's attentions are only increasing them.
Tugger just wants to have a conversation with the interesting cat without being left with his jaw on the floor, thanks.

A What-If story, branching off from the end of Last Jedi – What if it was Rey who had faced down Kylo on that field on Crait, instead of Luke?
