    “What's wrong? Did he hurt you?!” Jeongin exclaims, holding the prince who is writhing in pain close and glaring at Hyunjin.

    “No— No, I got sick,” Felix explains, sounding out of breath.

    “I— I'm trying to help him.” Hyunjin speaks up for the first time.

    “And why should we believe you? I thought you lived in town, what are you doing here this deep in the woods?” Seungmin questions.
    “I used to see him at the library a lot before I became a knight, and he told me he came there often because he lives close. This isn't close at all,” Seungmin points out, and Jeongin jumps up and swiftly pulls his sword on Hyunjin.

    “I— Wait! I-I used to live in town! I swear!” Hyunjin stammers, holding his hands up in fear. “I— I'm telling the truth— I-I got chased away from the town two years ago.”

    Seungmin frowns before it dawns on him what Hyunjin means, and he draws his sword as well. “So you are the madman people accuse of being a witch?!”

     

    OR: Prince Felix runs away because he's unhappy with his arranged marriage and in love with Jeongin instead. Jeongin and Seungmin, his knights, look for him and find him sick with a strange illness in the hut of an exiled witch who Seungmin used to know.
