    “I realized pretty quickly that the ‘hockey god’” Hayden did quotation marks in the air. “Was just a scared 19 year old like I had been the year before.... That was the moment I decided I was going to be Shane’s friend. Not because he was Shane fucking Hollander, but becuase he was just a kid like the rest of us were as rookies.”
