No, her smiles, her laughs, her excitement, it was all real. Katie believed if she loved the world it would love her back...maybe not now, but eventually. She was sure of it.
The world has yet to love her back at 18, so she pushed for change. The world didn't love her here, but she knew it would somewhere.

Katie has been kicked out of her home. She has nowhere to go, but after falling asleep on a train she ends up at an old rundown town called 'QSMP'.
She has a shitty neighbor, a moldy house, and a malicious landlord, who also seems to be inlove with her neighbor?
She tries to make do with what she has, and the town that anyone else would expect to hate her guts, may finally begin to love her back.

schlatt’s enjoying his evening when a familiar face pays a visit.
record player spins , a warm melody pairs nicely with a warmly lit room. life was nicer, quieter spent relearning and ignoring dismantled memories. Occasionally breaths of a stressful life clouded schlatt’s head but never seem to actually form into something important enough to remember. Some tastes remain familiar, warm whiskey and a warm friend. the song concludes and a moment of silence is left before the next starts, a slow trudge followed by well known shadow peaks through the window.

"You're dead!" Steve blinks, rubs at his eyes, blinks again. That's it, he's officially lost it. He's seeing things. Maybe Vecna's back, or something, making him hallucinate, because why else would he be seeing a very much alive Eddie Munson right now? A very much alive Eddie Munson who's staring at him from where he's hunched under his desk, his hair everywhere and his eyes strangely liquid, yelling at him for breaking his records, of all things.
"Evidently not." Eddie says, gesturing a lazy hand over himself and trying a sharp-toothed smile but mostly just looking exhausted and scared.
