It was quiet in the reef, but Boq could tell from the currents that the storm was still raging above the water. He nestled himself deeper into the anemone, willing himself into a sleep that never came.
Suddenly, he heard it. A wail. Someone was crying? Boq pushed himself up and peeked through the anemone.
Boq finds an infant Dorothy on the edge of a coral shelf near his home and decided to raise her as his own. He does his best, but parenting is hard, even without the threat of the Green Witch of the Deep looming over him.
