Summary

Summary
Venus had no family except their older brother who was barely present in their life, having only a pet dog to spend time with. Venus tries to live a normal life without any trouble and works hard to survive. They were doing a great job or so they thought, unaware that someone had taken an interest in them and was constantly spying on them. Somehow this leads to many unwanted encounters which they try to leave unaware that those actions would lead them to enter another world.

Summary
This city, Gotham, was the oddest most personable city he had ever been unfortunate enough to find himself in. Even down to the buildings, which towered over him and were almost entirely dark stone or metal with obvious gothic architecture. He had seen already more gargoyles perched on ledges here than he had ever seen in his life.
