“Reading at lunch?” Lydia noticed.
Allison looked over at her, but her attention immediately fell to her full lips as she slowly, tantalizingly, smeared a pink-tinted gloss over them. The glitter reflected mesmerizingly in the overhead lights, like small crystals.
“No,” Allison breathed, tearing her eyes away. She cleared her throat and gripped the book tightly in her hand before offering it to Lydia. “Here, before I forget. I, uh, finished it. Thanks for lending it to me.”
Lydia glanced confusedly between Allison and the book a few times, before playfully rolling her eyes and saying, “Oh, right. Took you long enough - I almost forgot you even had it.”

“You guys.” Stiles looked around the room at the Hale-McCall pack, searching for any indication that someone believed in him, but even Scott seemed like he was repressing a disbelieving smile. Fucking traitor. “I can be powerful!”
“Says last night’s bottom,” slipped out of Derek’s mouth, and the living room fell silent as they gaped at their usually-private alpha, whose expression quickly went from teasing to something between horrified and constipated.
