Summary
“I miss you,” Tommy says lowly and Buck thinks it should be ridiculous because they’ve been together all day but it isn’t. They’re newly back together, newly told each other they love the other...it’s heady, this feeling of wanting someone this much. It’s different, even than those first six months because now they really know they’re all in and they can’t get enough.
“God,” Buck breathes, kisses him softly. “I miss you too. Is that stupid?”
Tommy shakes his head and leans in for another kiss, this one deep and luxurious. Before either one of them knows what’s happening, Buck has Tommy laid out on the couch with Buck braced over him, kissing him as if his life depends on it. Right now, it feels like it does.
Or: 5 times Buck and Tommy can't keep their hands to themselves and one time it's not a problem.

"It’s our first night off together in forever. I was wondering about dinner? Stay in or go out?”
Tommy thinks about how to answer that. An answer that doesn’t make any sense should set off the alarm bells he needs. "Um, you know, we talked about that chicken the other night," Tommy says as nonchalantly as he can. And he can hear it. Evan's not making a sound but he knows something is up because they never had any such conversation.
"Did we?" Evan says just as carefully.
"We did," Tommy answers and decides to use his ace in the hole. "Didn't we, Buck?"
"You're in trouble," Evan says immediately.
Or: Tommy's held hostage at Harbor station.

“He is,” Tommy agrees. “He’s my favorite person. He worked hard to help organize this party too.”
Evan shrugs shyly, and Tommy marvels at how different his demeanor is around his parents, as though he’s trying not to take too much space. “It was fun.”
“You did a good job,” Maddie says fondly.
“I helped a little too,” Tommy says, which is true. “Right, Buck?”
Even Maddie looks surprised at that. Evan blinks at him slowly. Then he says, “Yes, you did, and, no absolutely not on the name.”
Or: Tommy sticks up for Buck with his parents and learns something he doesn't expect about Buck in the process.
