But when a naive decision forces her into a team led by two impulsive, unpredictable guys, she quickly learns that “loyalty” in this game is more of a threat than a promise.
But then there’s him.
A player from across the room. He’s a part of another team, but he seems kind, makes her laugh, and always seems to be looking when she looks too. A strong supposed ex-marine, who’s probably the type to catch her if she ever tripped. Despite never having talked, he looks at her like she matters. He makes her feel safer.
