Chen Yi can’t help the undignified whimper he lets out at the unexpected words, knees turning to jelly as he wilts against the door at how quickly that gets him to the edge, just at the simple phrase. Unable to keep himself upright as Ai Di chuckles, vicious and low in his ear, sending shivers down his already weak spine as the only thing keeping him up is Ai Di’s thigh between his legs.

Eddie's only selfish concern was whether Chen Yi was really in love with him or whether it was a hallucination. He was so absorbed in these thoughts and attempts to shake out confirmation of his hopes from Bai Zong Yi that he simply did not attach any importance to all these little things.
