Summary
There was a light knock at the door. The sound was so faint that Usagi almost didn't hear it over the boiling soup. He set down the ladle and walked over to the answer the door. He cracked it open, just to peek at who was there.
"Hey." came the small greeting. Usagi opened up the door all the way and was met with a clearly distressed Red-eared Slider. He was hugging himself, a little hunched over. His form was drowing in an oversized blue hoodie, making him seem small. It was starkly different from his usual confident stance.
It was pretty dark outside, probably due to almost being 1:00 in the morning, but Usagi swore there was tears in the corners of Leo's eyes.
"Oh, Lee..."
