Он просто старается дышать не слишком глубоко, не сжимать кулаки под партой и даже не смотреть на Фила. От греха подальше.
А Черных, несмотря на все усилия и молитвы Ильи, берет и оборачивается. Фил ещё и улыбается, радостно так, по-дружески, просто светится счастьем и довольством.Приплыли.

Summary
The woman leisurely approached him, a look of awe on her face. He saw her lips move but the sound that left her mouth did not reach his awareness. She stopped to stand a mere foot from him, his fire now no more than a flicker of warmth, and cocked her head to the side before pressing her hand against his cheek, green eyes boring into his. The sensation of her palm against his face was lost to Shouto as his brain starved for blood and oxygen.
Flashes of light from behind his assailants drew Shouto’s attention away from the woman in front of him and locked onto the form of Bakugo furiously blasting his way towards them.
But Dynamight was still a few blocks away. Todoroki knew the other hero probably wouldn’t make it in time.
This was it.
This was how Todoroki Shouto was going to die.
A small smile graced his lips as darkness engulfed the half-and-half hero, glad his last sight was that of his friend.Or:
Shouto is hit with a quirk that makes him clingy. Bakugo is not happy about it.

Summary

Summary
The hero curses up a storm and chases after him, boots sinking into the damp soil beneath. He catches sight of the villain sliding away towards a dark alley, and, jumping over the park fence, Dynamight has to blast himself over oncoming traffic to catch up.
Only this time – annoyingly similar to the last few times villains had the chance to run out of his sight for a few moments – he finds him frozen in place. And not in the metaphorical way. The mass of slime is not back into his human form, engulfed in a shell of ice, jagged icicles above him, resembling freezing rain droplets.
There’s no one there, as it usually is, the alley barren except from the person turned block of ice. Letting out a frustrated sigh, Dynamight mutters into his ear piece
“Ice fucker got him. Again.”

No amount of blankets or artificial heating can touch that aching chill. Because it's buried deep within him. Gnawing away at his bones. And the truth is, he doesn’t really want it to leave. The cold is good. Like the fog. It keeps him safe and alert and numb so he doesn’t have to feel. He just drifts. Alone in the dark. And it’s good because nothing can touch him there. Nothing at all.
Shouto drifts, drowning in fears of the past while Katsuki's all but forgotten what it means to trust. They're a little messed up, but maybe that's okay. Maybe they can be a little messed up together.
