"Okay, hold on, Hikari-chan," Oikawa says. Once she grips onto the handles, he places his hands on her back and sends her off.
Sugawara watches, amused, absentmindedly swinging himself along with her. He gasps when he feels a warm hand on his lower back, resting there for a moment before giving him a tender push.
They fall into a peaceful rhythm after that. Hikari babbles about her life—school, the shows she likes, her friends, practically everything under the sun—while they listen. Occasionally, Sugawara will feel Oikawa's touch lingering whenever he gives him another push, and he pretends his heart doesn't skip a beat every time.
