“Aziraphale,” he says, stressing each syllable, “you know, don’t you. You have to know. Please, tell me you know.”
“Yes,” he says, one hand cupping Crowley’s cheek, guiding him up to bump their noses together lightly. “Yes, my dear, I know. Me, too.”
“You,” Crowley chokes out, eyes wide and fingers trembling against his chest. “You, too.”
“Me, too,” Aziraphale affirms, then closes the little gap between their lips.-------

Summary
“Angel,” Crowley interrupts, rubbing his clammy palms on his trousers. A major design flaw, in his opinion. “I don’t need to be baited with alcohol to come in, you know. I’d love to.”
“O-oh,” Aziraphale breathes, a little relieved smile on his face. “Well, we can have a glass anyway, if you’d like.”
Crowley sighs again, soft and fond this time, and reaches out to take the angel’s hand. He still smells a little bit like Hell, when he brings it to his lips, and Crowley wants to wipe the stench from his skin. Aziraphale looks quite stunned, and Crowley’s not quite sure how he can be any clearer.
“Anything,” he says, “if it means we can be together.”

“It’s three in the morning, my dear,” Aziraphale murmurs when Crowley pulls back to pant unnecessarily. “What’s gotten into you?”
“Just wanted,” Crowley hums in response, eyes flicking down to where Aziraphale’s fingers have curled loosely around his wrists.
“Wanted?” Aziraphale prompts further.
“Yeah,” Crowley says unhelpfully, prying one of Aziraphale’s hands away to take it between both of his own and press his lips to the pads of his angel’s fingers. “Wanted you, a little bit.” -

Snow comes down heavy, covering the countryside like a blanket of frigid white, and two figures stroll idly down the gradually disappearing road, apparently unaffected by the weather. Children have yet to get out of school, and so the neighborhood is silent, pristine around them. One holds a cup of steaming hot chocolate in one hand, the other a paper bag from a bakery, and between them their intertwined hands sway in time with their perfectly asynchronous steps.
