Summary
The Kingdom of Bannerfall was an odd sort of place, but it was home.
Scott had been here for a hundred years now, and still, the novelty of having a safe place to stay where he would always be welcomed with open arms… It was good. He hesitated to call most things "good," but really. They were. Scott was doing okay.
But it never did get easier. He could breathe better, sometimes. It'd been so long, he'd honestly forgotten what they used to look and sound like, and the thought was as terrifying as it was comforting.
OR: A reincarnation AU, inspired heavily by It's Not Goodbye Forever by verdantstories, in which nothing and everything is as it seems and there's a magical artifact standing between three kingdoms. Chapter titles from From Eden by Hozier.

“It sounds like it. You are in the town of Oakhurst, my friend!” The blonde man spoke this time, 4c shivered at his voice.
“Oakhurst.. I haven’t heard of an Oakhurst before. We’re from the Blue Kingdom, if we’re close to Bannerfall?”
That only elicited more confused looks from the townsfolk.or,
4c and Nom are hanging out at the blacksmith, when suddenly they are thrown into a world completely unlike their own- one with strangely dressed people and vampires as active threats.
This is set before the events of March 19th in bannerfall, and is roughly around episode 3/4 of vampires.

Strength looked up at the sky.
