Summary
The Stark heirs had always been doms, so when Tony came into the world as a little, his father saw it as a challenge to reforge him into a dom himself, not caring about the cost.
Since the moment they'd met, Steve had been perplexed by Tony, with his smile that warned you away rather than drew you closer and his words that cut with too much purpose.
Clearly, he didn't want anyone too close and certainly not Steve, which was strange since he was a caregiver, the least threatening of all. So why did Tony seem so wary of him?
Secrets have a way of breaking free, though, no matter the cage. So when Steve came across a trembling and frightened Tony, the truth refused to be ignored.
There was only one explanation--Tony Stark was a little.

Summary
Tony knew he needed to go down. He figured it out somewhere between when the board of directors were chewing him out for God knows what and Clint, the bird-brain, had broken another quiver full of expensive arrows and demanded replacements. Both of which made him want to burst into tears.
When he got like this everything made him want to cry. But Tony could handle the yelling and the degrading and mean words. He was used to it. And he was used to Dominant's posturing. They loved trying to upstage him because he was a Submissive. They always hated that he was in charge, except for maybe Rhodey and Happy.
It wasn't easy but Tony could handle it.
