“Here’s to many more years as Cap, if you want ‘em,” said Sarah.
“Don’t want as many as my predecessor,” said Sam wryly, thinking of Steve’s frozen decades. “But I think I can do a lot of good with at least a few more years.”
Sarah hummed and smiled, but it was a thin smile. Sam narrowed his eyes at her. “What?” he asked. “What’s that look for?”
“Just wondering if there’s anything you want, just for yourself. Being Captain America’s a tough job, what’ve you got going on apart from that, what’re you doing just for Sam?”
Sam was doing plenty of things for himself, thank you very much, including but not limited to treating himself to a style makeover that had nothing to do with Bucky's own summer glow up. But as Sam and Bucky grew closer, Sam found it increasingly hard to deny that Bucky was something—someone—Sam wanted just for himself too. Even if Steve's return to their lives made Sam think that maybe Bucky wasn't Sam's to have.

Summary
“Daniel Molloy, I presume?” Lestat said and god, even his voice was sexy. Deeper than expected and that stupid accent was doing it for him, too. Jesus. If he were a couple of decades younger and far less wise, he’d go crawling back to him, too.
But he did have some self respect left, as well as a functional, if occasionally wonky self preservation instinct so when Lestat’s amused smirk reminded him of the fact that the bastard was prying into his every thought and probably having a good ol’ laugh about this old pervert daydreaming about licking him, he locked those thoughts down the way Louis taught him and gathered his composure.
“Your eyes are very blue,” he blurted out like a besotted fucking idiot.
Well. At least he tried.
Or, the one in which Daniel calls Lestat to come get his brooding husband out of his apartment and finally meets him in the process
