Summary
After the death of his Uncle, Colonel Ian Rider of His Majesty's Army, Alex find his guardianship passed onto the odious Mr. Alan Blunt. Finding Blunt's plan for the Rider family fortune and Alex himself to be entirely unpalatable, he searches out an alternative. He has never met Captain Yassen Gregorovich before, but despite his unusual background the man was a friend of his father's. Surely whatever price Captain Gregorovich would ask of him is worth it to be rid of the odious Mister Blunt.
