A poem written for Night Divining - A Noragami Tarot Zine.
My intentions were to write something that felt like it was split into two thoughts. Just as Yukine/Hagusa battled with their own torn feelings. The writing on the left are my own, but on the right are direct quotes from the manga. So be aware of spoilers if you have not finished.

Summary

Summary
Hiyori Iki, a 20 year old college student has been able to see ayakashi since she was a little girl. Her grandmother, who raised her, taught her how to protect herself from the ones that would cause her nothing but misfortune. One day on her way to class she runs into a hungry ayakashi she's never met or seen before. Despite her grandmother's warnings Hiyori decides to take a leap of faith by offering him a meal.

Bells chimed in Hiyori’s ear.
“Why is a raven like a writing desk?” asked a voice.
A jolt shot down her spine. It was not a familiar voice at all, but like the bells, it was so close to her that she could hardly believe the speaker wasn’t at her shoulder.
The silver hoop continued to slowly turn, and Hiyori strained her eyes to make out the features of the person lounging in it.
The bell-tipped jester’s hat cast a shadow over his forehead, and the lower half of his face was obscured by a scarf drawn up and knotted loosely around his neck. The ends of it trailed down to flutter near his crossed ankles.
The hoop completed another quarter-rotation. The figure stood up suddenly, his body elongating with catlike grace. His chin tilted down, regarding the enthralled crowd below him.

Summary
Curse-bearers, vampires who's true names are infected, causing them to be devoured by their karma. It's said to be a curse from the vengeful vampire of the blue moon, The Crafter, and spreads without warning.
Brother recently deemed a curse-bearer, Hiyori decides to follow her grandfather's advice and find the one man who's said to carry the blood of The Crafter in an effort to plea for his mercy. Despite how quickly he takes her job- claiming to be a god among humans and vampires- and falls in love with her, things are never that easy.

Summary
Iki Hiyori is a young archaeologist eager to prove herself to the scientific community. The opportunity presents itself when her brother Masaomi gives her a map that shows the way to Tamatsuki - the grave of the infamous Sorcerer. To reach the island that archaeologists consider a myth, she and Masaomi team up with Yato, the owner of the map. Together they will need to find a way to defeat the Sorcerer, whose spirit has been slowly regaining his strength over the centuries…
