Summary
It starts with Izuku curled up on his lap. He, Izuku, and Katsuki had gone out drinking after work. 'To catch up,' Izuku had said. 'I see you every day, but it feels like we haven’t really connected since UA.'
And he doesn’t let his throbbing heart or sweating palms get in the way of him agreeing.
But they’re here, now, with Izuku perched on his knee sipping a pink cocktail – with the umbrella, he’d been very specific – and Katsuki across from him in the booth, cradling a whiskey. Kirishima wants to hold his breath, to stop the thudding in his chest from resonating to his ears and yet he can’t.
He wipes his palms on the sides of his thighs, very careful to avoid Izuku’s way too soft skin where it was bared, his shorts riding up his legs as he straddles one of Kirishima’s knees.Bookmarked by Stressin_depression

Summary
Izuku barely remembered being put into the group home after his mother's death, and even 4 years later the place still seemed foreign and distant. It wasn’t that bad, the social workers were never abusive (Izuku tried not to think of the way they simply were acting like he wasn’t there. Surely, all those times he wasn’t called for dinner were a coincidence), and other kids were barely a warm-up compared to ones at school.
So, he learned how to adapt. Even if the hole in his chest had never gotten smaller and any reminder of his mom made it hard for him to breathe. Even if now he had to hide from bullies not only on the school ground but also in the place he called home. Even if he spent his nights out on patrol as a vigilante after getting his dreams of becoming an actual hero crushed by the last person he had real faith in.
It was fine. After all, Izuku had no other choice and complaining wouldn’t change anything.
But maybe it wasn’t. And it was finally time for him to start seeking a real home. Even if it would be found in a grumpy underground hero who had shown him kindness for the first time in years
