Summary
Hours later, When the sun was soon to rise, panting and out of breath I walked into a clearing full of fanged deer, stopping to examine my surroundings. One of the deer noticed me and trotted over to greet me, “has it been a good few days while I was gone?” Nipping me affectionately the deer began herding me towards the others sleeping in their silver moonlit clearing surrounded by towering trees. Laying down, I thought about all the terrifying stories of the supposedly horrible Level Woods. As I lay in a moonlit clearing surrounded by deer and vibrant berry filled bushes I wondered if they were lies, Or if I was simply lucky.

[Soulmate au!]
Bilbo doesn’t know who’s name is on his wrist. He at least knows it’s Khuzdul, but he still can’t *read* Khuzdul. After his 50th birthday, Bilbo decides to go run off to whatever Dwarven city he can to try and find his soulmate, not like he’s getting any younger anyways.
Thorin is stressed under kingly duties, and on top of that the council is on his ass about finding his soulmate. Just another stressor on top of all his duties and dealing with the princes… He really needs another advisor to take something off his shoulders.

Summary
It’s a time loop. After Zabuza’s fifth time dying and starting over again, he felt pretty confident in that assessment, and each cycle, he only becomes more certain. The reset trigger is his death, and the start point is always right before his first confrontation with Hatake.
But no matter what he does, it ends the same.
Well, that’s not quite true. Sometimes it’s worse.

When Zabuza dies in the Land of Waves after Haku's sacrifice and Gato's betrayal only to wake up again at the beginning of the mission, he sees an opportunity to change things. But when all logical paths lead straight to death, Zabuza is forced to make the illogical choice--side with Hatake and hope that just once, he and Haku can make it out of this alive. Kakashi has his own motives for agreeing to an alliance, however, and with so much at stake, both shinobi find themselves far more entangled with each other than either had intended when they set out.
(Haku isn't sure what happened to Zabuza-shishou to make him care so much all of a sudden, but he's not complaining. Naruto & Sakura are already planning the wedding. And Sasuke can't believe his definitely-not-a-family just grew by 2.)

Their hands brush, and all at once Ellie is back in the stupid fucking Jurassic Jeep, Ian’s hand around her wrist, lightly, so lightly. Chaos theory, she thinks, unable to look away from his doe-dark eyes. Drop, drop of water.
It’s between them almost tangibly, she thinks, so thick, the unspoken memory of it. Dragging him, bleeding, into her arms in the truck. Blind with terror for him, herself, for Alan--a never ending mantra, please God let us be okay. The terror, yes, and yet also a faint, half-remembered tension--some dark thing, glistening with potential, like a pool of oil, a tenuous ocean.
She picks up his glass, sips. Faint warmth from his fingers on the stem of the glass.
“Mm. Much better.”
He holds her gaze as he lifts the glass to her in a little salute, then to his lips.
“Anything for you, my dear.” And it’s a joke, obviously, said lightly, and yet--the ocean burns.

A year after Jurassic Park, Alan and Ellie are living together in Denver. They run into an old friend--Ian Malcom--also living in the area. Things get sexy.
