Jean thought a lot. Sometimes it felt like that was all she did when she wasn’t being Captain Jean, or the Gunnhildr heir, or another one of her ridiculous titles.
Jean thought about everything; insignificant or otherwise. Nighttime was the perfect time for her mind to run like there was no tomorrow, but she didn’t always enjoy each and every thought. She did appreciate the dose of reality though.
In which Jean says fuck generational cycles, and calls out some of Mondstadt's BS about freedom.

In the meantime, Kirkwall's Viscount implements measures to improve the lives of Elven citizens, and Merrill gathers allies to hunt a serial killer. Conspiracies put Kirkwall's Champion in jail, and when things couldn't possibly get worse, a dragon threatens the city.

Summary
A fic in which I tell my version of Cullen's backstory. Follow his journey as we revisit some of his childhood days before we explore his time as Knight-Commander in Kirkwall all the way to the start of his new life in the Inquisition (all set within my Inquisitor's world state).
This fic came about from my love of Cullen as a protagonist, and also my need to develop his character and my HCs for him, in order to write a rich, nuanced version of him in my f!Trevelyan's longfic.
