Dally couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t breathe, couldn’t move. The echo of the door slamming played over and over, the voice crack in the last few words said playing on repeat.
He wanted to beg. God, it was pathetic, but he wanted to get on his knees and apologize and say everything he never said.
But it was too late. The footsteps down the stairs were faded and the only thing Dally was left with was lungs that didn’t work and echos in his head.

After realizing how forced his feeling for Piper felt, Jason broke up with her. Piper felt mutual about it, making them still amazing friends. Jason and Leo started hanging out like they had before Piper and him had started dating, leading Jason to thinking that Leo might be more than a friend. Even tho he knew Leo likes him a lot, Jason knew Leo would never feel the same.
Leo has always knew Jason was a special friend, but he never had a thought that it might be romantic. He’s always been jealous of Piper, but he always just pinpointed it as him feeing single. Sometimes he would find himself wanting to rest his head on Jason’s shoulder or fighting the urge to hold his hand, but he brushed it off thinking that he must just be really comfortable around Jason.
However, one night by the lake changes everything.
