Summary
A hidden advantage or resource kept in reserve until needed.
Masayoshi Shido has barred the Shadow Operatives from action for two years, since the death of Wakaba Isshiki. But when the Phantom Thieves appear, Mitsuru decides that they can't keep just watching from the sidelines. Luckily, there is a certain former member Shido doesn't seem to be aware of: Ken Amada. But when Ken meets the Phantom Thieves in person, he can't help but agree with their goals. He can't help but befriend them. Maybe it only had been a matter of time before he actually joined them.

📗 Arc 2: Countryside of Bonds (Chapters 21–40)
As spring break begins, they reunite — not for a calling card, but for something even rarer: peace.
An invitation from Ren brings the group to his quiet countryside hometown, where golden fields, sleepy mountains, and starlit skies await. Here, far from Tokyo’s noise and past battles, bonds are tested, deepened, and healed.
Futaba and Sumire, freshly in love, explore what it means to share a life — from shy glances to silent understanding beneath constellations. Ren and Makoto reunite at last, free to simply be together. Ryuji and Ann wrestle with feelings as chaotic as their games, while Haru and Yusuke's artful hearts find rhythm in golden light.
And Akechi, now quietly walking beside them, continues his slow journey toward redemption — not through grand gestures, but through presence, humility, and the choice to stay.
No masks. No Metaverse. Just a promise: that even beyond battle, their bonds remain.
Theme: Deepened love, healing friendships, and rural serenity beneath summer skies

Summary
📗 Arc 1: Second Spring, Second Year (Ch. 1–20)
Theme: Beginnings and Boundaries
The Metaverse is gone — but their hearts are still learning how to live in the light. Now in their second year, Futaba and Sumire find themselves seated side-by-side in the same class, no longer fighting shadows but navigating awkward lunches, shared umbrellas, and the slow growth of something gentler than either of them expected.
Beneath rooftop skies and beside half-finished bento boxes, a quiet rhythm forms: dance rehearsals, secret games, soft glances, and late-night comfort after real-world fears. Akechi watches from a distance. Sojiro warms a new seat in the café. Ren writes from afar.
The final pages of the arc closes with rain-soaked confessions, a first kiss, and a hand that no longer trembles when held.
