Recently though he started to dream of a metal mask, he dreamt of a life where he stood beside someones throne, whispering and plotting in the day, panting and moaning at the quiet night, as black finger tips trailed lightly on skin in reverence and worship.
His thoughts were abruptly interrupted as the floors of the Sanctum creaked, he summons the cloak and his robes "Who's there? Show yourself." He calls out, he knew someone was there, he could feel the quiet buzzing in the air, felt the vibrations of powerful magic. Suddenly a figure came out from the shadows, Stephen narrows his eyes and they widened as the metal mask from his dreams care into view.
"Who are you?" He asked as he quickly summond mandalas, ready to attack if necessary.
"I'm not here to hurt you Stephen." The voice was deep and mechanical, it was calm yet something sinister seemed to lie behind it. He kept his mandalas up.
"How do you know my name?"
"We have met, in another lifetime."

___Jayce’s gloved fingers traced its surface for some reassurance. The weight of his helmet tugged at the top of his head, and he was conscious of every breath he took. Outside, the world was a chaotic blur: hurrying mechanics, waved flags, cameras clicking away to frame the scene.
