"You want my advice?" He licks a long streak on Shane's neck and Shane moans. Ilya must interpret that as a yes because he keeps talking. "You are too predictable. You play safe. You don't switch it up, so the player learns to read you and from there on, it's easy."
Shane looks at him deadpan. "Good to know."
Ilya smirks.
"Just trying to help," he feigns innocence, presses a hand to Shane's crotch. Shane groans.
"How nice of you," he mutters, and captures Ilya's mouth again to shut him up.

After getting injured a week before the Tampa All-Star Game, Shane spends the summer recovering at the cottage.
When his neighbours text to say they’ve rented out their place for the summer, he tells himself it’s fine.
Totally fine. He doesn’t mind at all.
