What would have happened if Courtney hadn't left after Robert kissed her back in the locker room?Not much plot here, just two extremely emotionally compromised people making extremely questionable decisions together. Title's from a Hozier song because I'm unoriginal like that.
Update: As of chapter two, there's actually some plot. Go figure.

Summary
After defeating Shroud and the Red Ring, Robert and Mandy have their second date. The Z-Team continues to bond with one another and new relationships form. However, the aftermath of Shroud's defeat leaves Robert doubting he made the right decision in sparing the Villain. With some of his worst fears coming true, Mandy has something to tell her boyfriend.

Summary
In this story, Shroud's bullet kills Courtney, before Robert can do anything to Shroud for payback, a blinding white light suddenly appears and blinds everyone. Robert is then sent back to 4 months ago when he was still alone with all his memories intact. Robert at first though he was dreaming, or hallucinating or having a nightmare, anything to explain what had just happened.
Robert now realises he has been given a chance to change things and to save Courtney. However, changing to much or the wrong thing and his current day gets reset by the same blinding light from before (which he will figure out eventually after many fail attempts). Robert must navigate his past to save his future and Courtney.
Robert doesn't know why or how this happened, all he knows is that with knowledge of events to come. He has been given a do over.

This was never meant to happen. Courtney swore up and down on that fact. The first time was a genuine coincidence. When she ended up in the streamer Mecha Man’s Arc Raiders game lobby for the first time, she somehow managed to shoot him down with clean, cold brutality.
