Contrary to what the myths would have like him to believe, the Underworld is a gentle, gentle place. It's a resting place. A home for all those that are lost and still wander. It teaches him that death has always been, and will always be, an ending with many faces.
(The fruit of the Underworld is forbidden because it seeks to keep. Izuku does not mind. He likes being wanted.

His hand reaches out before he can process it and he’s grabbing the back of her collar, lifting her a few feet off the ground like he’s ready to carry her and plop her back on her feet.
He stares in bewilderment at what he just did because he was not aware that he even had such an instinct.

"Blood and sauce both look the same." Toga shrugged. She was holding a ladle smeared with blood. The pizza in front of her was covered in it.
"It would ruin the cheese flavor, though," Izuku pointed out.
"What if you added pineapple to mute the bloody flavor?" Sato suggested.
"You put pineapple on pizza?" Kaminari shook his head in disgust.
Bakugo scoffed. "Who the hell puts pineapple on pizza?" he asked.
"Hey, pineapple on pizza tastes amazing!" Sero protested.
