Summary
Regina Mills has always had a soft spot for children, well, the intelligent ones. And as a Queen, what she wants is what she gets. So acquiring both a child and a baby, instead of just a baby, is a simple matter. This is her happy ending, after all. Her enemies defeated, children to love and be loved by, and a world free from the pain of the Enchanted Forest.
Skye Mills is, in some ways, living a fairy tale. She’s been adopted by a mother who loves and wants her, with a real family of three, a room of her own, regular meals, clothing that fits, security, a home. It’s everything she could have dreamed of. The strange town where no one ages and most people act like background characters is definitely an oddity, but its predictability is comforting.
Until, suddenly, things start changing. Her brother is convinced their mom is evil. The townsfolk are waking up. Conversations matter from one day to the next, people are real. And her mom is unraveling. All Skye wants is for her family to stop falling apart.

Summary
On a trip to Boston, Taylor Hebert and her father were caught in the middle of a battle between the Teeth and the Boston Protectorate. In her panic to protect her father, Taylor may have made an ill-advised decision, suffocating Butcher XIV. Now that she's become the new Butcher, Taylor took a careful look at her options before deciding that the only reasonable decision would be to join the Brockton Bay Wards. Surely this plan has absolutely no problems.

Summary
Samantha Stewart is not the Simurgh. This is obvious.
It is also obvious that she is not one of the world's most powerful telekinetics, precogs, postcogs, Masters, and Tinkers. Sam is just an ordinary human with an ordinary job trying to live an ordinary life where she may or may not be mentally coerced into transforming into a fifteen-foot-tall angel and decimating a major population center every now and then.
It is fairly obvious that she needs therapy, though. Losing her job doesn't help, and neither does getting caught in the middle of a violent cape battle. But maybe, just maybe, this means that Sam finally has the opportunity to do some good for a change.Soar is heavily inspired by Learning to Sing and lightly inspired by Case.
Full-Work Content Warning for major depression and self-hatred. Things will get better, but hoo boy do they start off bad.

Inspired, quite loosely, by Thoughts as Light as a Feather by Somewhat Disinterested. (Though given the circumstances of the story's transfer to this site, I'm a little wary on associating this one with theirs. For one, theirs is a lot less graphic and messed up. This one is definitely deserving of its Mature rating, by far.)
More accurately to my initial point, I re-read the fic and found that I still liked it, and then I thought, why don't I tackle the question of how a Taylor with unrestricted telepathy akin to her bug-control would turn out? The answer is... I don't know. This is a strange, strange work. I don't quite understand what I'm going for here, but... unrestricted telepathy is OP as fuck, I guess. Enjoy the ride.
(Also, before you guys start blowing up my PMs on SpaceBattles, calm down please. I'm TheEpicLotfi, but I go by Daoist Mystery on Royalroad and Ao3.)
