After waking up in the hospital with a bad case of amnesia, Evan Buckley is reverted to his sixteen year old self. Much to the 118's surprise, this version of Buck is nothing like the man they've come to know and love. He's shy, skittish and quiet- everything their Buck is not. Eddie is finally settling into El Paso life when a call from Chimney sends a lot of well controlled emotions spiraling.

Eddie picks up the phone attempting to keep his voice light in hopes of easing the sinking feeling he has. “Hey Chim what’s up?”
Chimney’s tone was clipped as he responded, “it’s about Buck.”
“Is…is he okay?..” Eddie couldn’t tell if his heart was beating to fast or not at all.
“Yes and no.” Chim just sounded exhausted now, “Look man I know you got obligations in Texas. But he needs you right now…their dad died 2 days ago…”
