Summary
A Control Devil unraised by the Japanese government comes searching for Chainsaw Man. She finds him in a shed with two orphaned children, but he is not who she thinks he is. Her idealized view of him shattered, she views the children who gave Chainsaw Man what he really wanted all along with him as special. Unfortunately, because she is the embodiment of Control, the two innocent souls shall be corrupted just as light entering the event horizon must go into the black hole.

Makima becomes Denji's and Reze's adopted mother. Everything goes horribly.

Denji Kishibe is certain of a few things: 1. His family is not the most conventional. 2. His twin sister Nayuta is both his best friend and his worst enemy. 3. Denji and Nayuta had weird things happen around them. 4. Denji had weird dreams that felt more like memories.
Then, after a fateful cat accident, Denji has a fifth thing he is certain of: Pochita's still with him.
Then, after a woman with a Scottish burr wearing a witch’s hat and robes comes with a pair of letters for Denji and Nayuta, he has a sixth: “Denji, yer’ a wizard.”

Denji wants a new friend, and at age fourteen he finds a certain silly Bird Devil living out of a dumpster. Pochita tries to tell him it's a bad idea, but unfortunately he can only bark.
The War Devil, Yoru, is then forced to become that new friend, and no. She doesn't like him, not one bit, she is just using him for free food, and shelter, and is totally going to turn him into a weapon when she regains her power.
Becoming fond of him has nothing to do with this whatsoever. Screw that damn dog and his smug looks.
