Summary
Lance forces his eyes open, all the way this time. It takes them a second to adjust, and when they do, his stomach plummets to the center of the earth. The man is in a black shirt, the sleeves rolled up on his forearms to reveal the runes inked across his pale skin. There’s a sword strapped across his back, a big one.
“You’re a Shadowhunter,” Lance blurts. Lance’s mother had warned him about getting mixed up with these bloodthirsty maniacs, and here he is, half conscious next to the very people he’d worked so hard to avoid the last two years. He’s fucked. Royally screwed. He isn’t sure what kind of punishment is handed out to warlocks for public intoxication but his mind races through options like indefinite imprisonment, dismemberment, death?
*No prior knowledge of the Shadowhunters Chronicles needed!

Summary
A collection of one-shots related to the team and their reaction to the discovery of Keith's past as they move forward in the present. Taken from each paladin's perspective during a moment in season five where their new knowledge becomes relevant. Probably best to read "Because You Care" first for a bit of context.
1) Gen: Pidge- "Keith doesn’t say anything and Pidge can’t read his expression. There’s some sort of conflict there but she can’t tell if it’s because he thinks the data is more important than all of their lives or just his. And if it’s the latter, she’s kicking his ass back to have a talk with Shiro because he seems to be the only one who can talk some sense into Keith."
2) Gen: Lance- "He squares his shoulders and marches into the locker room, stiff-arming the door open. He fully intends to give Keith a stern lecture on how much he means to the team and that they just want him to get better, but when Lance enters the open area beyond, there’s no one in sight."

Summary
The rest of the team looks just as shocked as Shiro imagines he must. Keith, their Keith, was going to use his own ship to break through the barrier? It did kind of sound like him but… he was that close to death, and they hadn’t even known.
Shiro doesn’t tell them, can’t tell them, that this is not the first time he’s had to live through news like this. It’s not the first time he’s sat on a couch with his head in his hands, waiting for Keith to return. It’s not the first time he’s wondered what he did wrong, what he could have done differently just to make that boy understand that there is someone out there in the wide universe that can love him. It’s not the first time Keith has pushed away only for Shiro to realize that letting him go was the worst possible decision he could have made.
When would he ever learn?

Summary
Team Voltron is back on Earth. The Galra have been beaten back for now. The paladins are doing their part, helping restore the Earth, building human/alien relations and preparing for the next attack that inevitably will come.
But until then Lance is just glad to be back on Earth. To be with his family and finally have solid terra firma underfoot. It is the most peaceful it has been for the paladins in what feels like forever and intends to enjoy it while he can.
Now that things have calmed down though he's started noticing some odd things about their leader. Things he is positive he hadn't noticed about Keith before. Things that were distinctly... Galra.
At first, Lance thinks he's imagining it but eventually it becomes impossible to ignore... and even more impossible to deal with.

Summary
A Paranormal Investigatior's AU where Shiro's day is so awfully plagued by ghosts and other things that go bump in the night. It drives him completely off balance and the only way he could ever get back to the way things were is if this was dealt with psychically—because there's honestly nothing else that can be done.
Cue Keith and his good intentions that lead him to a motley group of amateur paranormal investigators that have an...interesting set of skills that might just be the thing he needs to help his friend.
Of course, dealing with their pseudo leader, and his supposed rival, Lance, who incidentally can't seem to ever act normal around him, is something he should have anticipated, but maybe it's not all that bad, maybe there's something in it for him as well at the end of all of this.
EDIT! - as of 8th May, 2021, I have decided to revamp this entire fic. I left it hanging for two?? years but I'm back to this with a way more solid plot in mind and I want to see this written to completion.
