Summary
It's been a bit of time since Izuku turned Katsuki down in the car that night. And Izuku hated himself for that, but he couldn't stand the thought of letting Katsuki down again. He couldn't live with himself if Katsuki got hurt again because of him.
Two months later, after not speaking to Katsuki for a good while, Izuku knows he'll see him at the Tanabata Festival that night. He gets ready in his yukata, meets up with his friends, and... Katsuki, in all his glory, is there.
But Katsuki has one final request before he'll finally let Izuku go, and Izuku is far too weak to say no.

Summary
Years after Katsuki left Izuku in the dust as a kid he's reminded of the gesture of affection that had his palms sweating and heart pounding when Izuku used to do it for him when they'd get scuffed up on the playground: kissing his band aids after patching him up.
Fast forward to the present and the dumb nerd is just going around offering up kisses to any old extra in their class except Katsuki and it's driving him insane. Despite him pushing these feelings within himself as deep as possible, it stings more than he could've ever imagined.

Summary
Izuku gave up on being a hero in middle school. He moved to the city and created a new dream for himself. Ten years later he is living that dream as the newest member of the Tokyo PD's homicide detective unit. After finding out about a string of related murders in his hometown, his Captain loans him out to the Musutafu department to help put an end to the case quickly. Slightly perturbed that he has to leave as soon as he's been promoted, he comes around to the idea until he's informed that he'll be part of a special trial run that involves pro heroes working alongside local law enforcement to help with tougher cases. It's not the program itself that he's apprehensive of, it's the person who will be kicking it off: Bakugou Katsuki.
Confronted with confusing emotions he had locked away for nearly a decade, Midoriya juggles navigating his feelings, adjusting to Bakugou's new-found apologetic side, and stopping these murders before it's too late. He learns quickly that just because you ignore the ghosts that haunt you doesn't mean they go away.
