Summary
In an alternate "Life is Strange" universe, Max Caulfield never reached Blackwell Academy.
Years after the events of LIS 1, Chloe Price, haunted by Max's disappearance and her unresolved feelings, searches for Rachel Amber, who is also missing. Chloe learns from Frank Bowers that Max might be in a human trafficking ring. Determined to find her, Chloe dives into the criminal underworld, dealing with dangerous operatives and cartels.
Chloe eventually locates Max, who has been missing for years. To rescue her quickly and discreetly, Chloe makes the difficult decision to secure Max’s freedom through illegal means, fearing for her safety if the authorities are involved.
Back home, Chloe focuses on helping Max recover from her ordeal. As they piece together what happened, Chloe discovers that she can’t trust everyone, even people she used to love. The list of suspects is long, from wannabe mercs to international empires. And they all want her dead for good this time.
Even if she successfully unravels this mystery, there are greater horrors lurking in this city of neon and blood- some of which are on Max's trail for reasons more sinister than murder.
A crossover between Cyberpunk 2077 and Life Is Strange. The basic premise is inspired by the Life is Strange sequel comics that follow Chloe and Max after the end of the original game. Expect spoilers for Life is Strange, Cyberpunk 2077, and Edgerunners.

The events that happened in LIS are canon and it's assumed Max never went back to Arcadia Bay. Jefferson was caught after Nathan died and the amount of girls that were drugged became suspicious. One autumn Friday in 2008, Chloe Price does something spectacularly stupid. Figures she's stupid enough to get herself caught, too. To top things off, it's for a stupid reason she won't readily admit, but then again, Chloe's been stupid about most things, lately.
Chloe's words, not his.
The truth is, his daughter hasn't been particularly good with her decision making for quite some time.
And William Price wants to figure out why.
This story will follow Chloe and Max from just before Max's birthday, a week away from Farewell, all the way to well after the storm, while also taking regular pit stops in Seattle to figure out what Max has been up to these five years.
The story is Soft AU, with the aim to hit all the major story beats until after the storm, and keeping the characters as close to canon as possible. However, there'll be slight changes here and there, and expanding on the world and events that are only canon footnotes to make the world feel richer instead of just the canon play-by-play.
