Summary
Fifteen hours.
It had been fifteen hours since Will Byers had crumpled to the ground inside MAC-Z after saving Mike Wheeler’s life. Fifteen hours since the kids had been pulled into the depths of hell and Mike had crawled his way to Will avoiding the flames that licked at his arms, had grasped onto him tightly and pulled him towards the Radio Shack. Fifteen hours since he and Joyce dragged him half unconscious through the dark tunnels, where they’d ran into a terrified and frantic Lucas on their way. Fifteen long hours since Mike’s whole world had been turned upside down, again.
That was funny, and frankly Mike was unaware if it even meant anything to any of them anymore.
Or:
Picks up after volume 1 of Stranger Things season 5, Will Byers is weak and unconscious on the couch, and Mike Wheeler endlessly worries about him. All while having trouble accepting what he will slowly come to realize.

(Chapter one was written in an hour… disregard how badly written it is! My writing gets better from chapter two trust.)

Summary
Will Byers doesn’t consider himself brave.
He considers himself a HD student with a low tolerance for vodka and a talent for leaving early. But bravery, it turns out, isn’t always loud. Sometimes it's handed out like permission slips at crowded college parties: permission to drink too much, to flirt badly, and take a hit from someone else’s cola flavoured vape.Or; College AU, Will "Ivy League" Byers/Mike "The Dark Knight-wannabe" Wheeler

Summary
It’s been three years after the events of season 4, and time has done nothing to mend the growing cracks in Mike and Will’s friendship. The party, once thought to be lifelong friends, has broken apart and gone their own ways, trying to move past the horrors they’ve endured. They closed the gate. They saved Max in time. Vecna is dead.
Will Byers, however, is still haunted by the memories of what happened all those years ago, trapped, alone, and unable to move on. But when those memories start bleeding into real life, and imagined threats start to become all too real, Will must find it within himself to fight this evil one more time.
When that leads to Mike Wheeler showing up in his life once more, well, that’s just one more headache Will doesn’t want to deal with. He’s moved on, and Mike is just a bitter reminder of everything he’s lost.

“I’m sorry, Will.” Mike spoke the words softly, a near-whisper that could’ve easily been swept into the quiet whistle of the wind, only heard by the one who uttered them.
“No, you’re not,” Will says without turning around. “If you were, or if you had been, you wouldn’t be saying this three years too late.”
