Shin wondered what he had done to deserve this. Well, what specific thing he had done, he could admit he had a troubled past. Had he killed someone from his assassin days who had come back as a vengeful spirit, or maybe a family member was into rituals or dark magic?!
Across from him, Shishiba bit into a breakfast bar, chewing slowly as he looked Shin up and down, an expression of boredom flittering across his face.
“Are you going to actually start the interview or have I already gotten the job?” Shishiba asked, irritation lacing his voice.

Summary
Gilbert was never really good at telling people how he felt, nor was he good at expressing himself beyond his egotistical persona. In other words, it was rare for people to actually, truly know what he was thinking. He's an intriguing person, indeed. It's hard to understand such a person- one that has lived for centuries, involved in conflicts and the likes. Can such a person, if they can even be called such, be understood?
