Summary
He was supposed to stop the monsters, instead, Peter Parker became one.
In the heart of Gotham, he learns what is means to be hunted by both sides of himself-the boy who saves, and the thing that hungers.
As the city sleeps, the spider wakes.
And somewhere between web and flesh, a hero begins to unravel.
.
.
The mission was supposed to be simple: investigate reports of man-eating spiders in queens. But when Peter Parker is torn apart by a machine that shouldn’t exist, he wakes up changed.
By day, he hides behind borrowed clothes and bruises, a quiet boy the Wayne family can’t stop worrying about.
By night, he’s the creature they’re hunting.
Each transformation drags him further from the person he was, and closer to the thing that waits beneath his skin. Caught between hero and horror, Peter must choose which voice to trust-the one begging to be saved, or the one that only knows how to feed.
In Gotham, even monsters have to decide what kind of story they’re going to be.Every night he changes. Every morning, a little less of him comes back.
