Summary
Six months earlier, Bucky would have said the prospect of dying back home in Brooklyn sounded like a dream. Now, faced with his own imminent demise in a Brooklyn that is almost unrecognizable, it’s decidedly less appealing.
Honestly, it’s just sort of bizarre. Survive Afghanistan and come home to die in the pseudo-zombie apocalypse. Can’t make this stuff up.

Summary
His mission had been clear: get the deviant leader in his sights and snipe it to end the revolution. But it'd all gone wrong.
Connor could feel the firm muscles of Hank’s thighs clenching down on his thin waist – tense enough to be ready for any attempt to escape, yet effortless, with the clear indication that he could remain like this for a long time if needed. His blue eyes were as sharp as ice, as hard, as cold.
Connor was trapped. He hadn’t seen it coming, hadn’t expected this outcome.
And it was thrilling.

Summary
Ajay took in the scene laid out before him: people dressed like Sabal in blue and yellow, fighting with Pagan’s army guys. Gunshots and explosions and screams, Sabal yelling encouragement from behind.
He took one look…and turned and bolted up the hill and into the trees.

Summary
Bucky’s been at the Avengers Tower for three weeks before he finally gives in to Steve’s gentle coaxing and Stark’s cheerful waving of fistfuls of circuits, and lets them scan the arm.
It doesn’t go well.
