   Summary

A resentful “wife,” who plans to murder her affectionate “husband,” who plans to never let her go.

   Extend

The economic collapse that led to the US losing the Cold War—and, consequently, becoming the USSR’s wife.

Now isolated in Siberia, the US has made plans to become a widow and reclaim her former prestige. Meanwhile, her husband continues to attack her with kisses.

   Which further justifies her plans.

Written in a vignette-like tale between the complex marriage life of the USSR and USA.
