Summary
Roger is filled to the brim with cigarette smoke and anger. He knows that he should find a better outlet for his rage, but he just can't seem to gather up the energy. And maybe none of this is fair to Simon, maybe he's put too much worry on the boy for his own good. Maybe Roger doesn't care.
Simon is depressed. He can't help it, it's just the way his brain is wired. Except, really, it's not. And really, he knows he needs help or else he'll swallow a bottle of pills again. But he thinks that maybe he doesn't even want the help. Maybe he'd be better off dead.
Ralph should be perfect. He's attractive, has amazing grades, he's fantastic at sports, and has girls falling for him left and right. Really, he's a wreck. Too much pressure is put on him to be the perfect boy everyone loves. Maybe that's why his thighs are covered in cuts done by a razor blade.
Jack is trying to meet a standard everyone's set for him. He needs to be head boy, leader of the choir, and go to a top of the line university. He's so stressed out that it's no wonder he turns to drugs and fights to fix his problems. Sometimes, he wishes he could stay inside all day and do absolutely nothing. At least he'd stay out of trouble that way.

Summary
The Cheberith Sanctuary is one of the few organizations taking in injured angels and nursing them back to health while actively fighting against the increasing traffic of this endangered species.
Evan is one of the few angels to be born in captivity, and because he has never seen the outside world he can only imagine what Connor, the almost feral newest addition to the Pack, has been going through.
(Gentle reminder that early chapters have been written in 2017, and I got better at writing since. I hope.)

There’s a beat of hesitation, but Evan lets go of the red metal and looks headlong into the ground awaiting him.
All is calm, and he takes a step.
“What the fuck.” The stillness of the night is shattered to pieces, and Evan scrambles desperately to take hold of the bridge again. The loss of the silence brings about the loss of control, and within moments he’s hyperventilating, hands sweating and heart racing.
Evan glances over his shoulder and in the darkness can make out a slight, tall figure standing at the very edge of the treeline.
“I-I’m sorry?” Evan chances in response, eyes on the person as they step forward.
And, well. Of all the people he expected to see tonight, Connor Murphy was not one of them.

Evan can't seem to find a single way around this, so he climbs higher than he's ever gone before. He's certain that he could fall without anyone ever caring.

Summary
The rules for the private messages were simple. They were confidential. No one, not even Dr. Miller, could read what Connor wrote. Real names were not allowed on the site. The users were simply referred to by their first initials. This also applied to anyone they mentioned in their messages. (Connor had found that out when he ranted about Zoe to E one day and his final message was covered in Z**s.)
All messages went through an automated censoring program before being delivered to their recipients. Swear words were redacted. (“One of the goals of You Are Not Alone is to help teenagers learn to express their feelings in a civilized manner,” Dr. Miller had explained. Connor was fairly certain that that aspect alone had won his father over.)
In other words, an AU in which Evan and Connor are pen pals and things kind of snowball from there.
